Decatur County Offers three healthcare providers, The Decatur County Hospital, Community Health Centers of Southern Iowa and Public Health and Home Care.

Decatur County Hospital:

DCH is located in Leon. DCH is a 11-bed, critical access hospital that offers in-patient hospice, skilled and respite care, as well as acute care. Out-patient services include: general and vascular surgery, cardiac rehabilitation, physical therapy, occupational therapy, infusion therapy, radiology, etc.

Infinity Health was founded in 2005 as a Federally Qualified Health Center in Decatur County, Iowa. Formerly known as Community Health Centers of Southern Iowa (CHCSI), the health care organization rebranded as Infinity Health in 2022 to reflect the overall reach and services it provides to the communities it serves in southern Iowa and northern Missouri. Today, Infinity Health manages 11 locations,  including primary care sites and centers offering behavioral health and substance abuse services. Infinity Health is part of the IowaHealth+ network. There are 2 Infinity Health Clinic’s in Decatur County. One is located in Leon, one is located in Lamoni.

Public Health provides comprehensive public health, home care, and environmental health services for residents of Decatur County. Public Health is located in Leon.
